As the Club grows, evolves and welcomes new members, we commit to safeguarding the principles upon which it was founded.
Community before competition
Whilst golf is at the heart of our activities, people are at the heart of our purpose. Pretty Putters exists first and foremost as a community. Skill development, handicap improvement and competition are encouraged, but never at the expense of friendship, inclusion and enjoyment. Every member should feel that she belongs, regardless of her golfing ability.
Every woman has a place
Pretty Putters shall remain welcoming and accessible to women of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and levels of golfing experience. Whether a member is playing her first round of golf or has years of experience, she should feel equally valued, respected and included. We celebrate diversity and believe that our differences strengthen our community.
Growth through encouragement
We believe people thrive when they are supported. The culture of Pretty Putters shall always be one of encouragement rather than criticism, and collaboration rather than comparison. We celebrate effort, progress, learning and participation, recognising that every golfer’s journey is unique.
Golf should be enjoyable
Golf can be challenging, but participation in Pretty Putters should always be enjoyable. We are committed to creating experiences that are uplifting, engaging and memorable. Laughter, friendship and fun remain central to who we are.
Learning is a lifelong journey
We acknowledge that growth is one of the greatest gifts golf offers. The Club shall encourage continuous learning through coaching, mentorship, shared experiences and constructive support — creating opportunities for members to improve their skills, confidence and knowledge of the game.
Respect defines us
We are committed to treating one another with dignity, kindness and consideration. We respect our fellow members, guests, golf professionals, sponsors, host venues and the traditions of the game itself, and hold ourselves to standards of conduct that reflect positively on the Club.
Women supporting women
At the heart of Pretty Putters is the belief that women achieve more when they support one another. We create an environment where achievements are celebrated, challenges are shared and every member feels encouraged to succeed both on and off the golf course.
Excellence in experience
We aspire to create experiences that are professionally organised, thoughtfully planned and enjoyable for all participants. Whether it is a monthly round, a coaching clinic, a networking brunch or a special event, members should feel part of something purposeful, memorable and well-run.
Leave the game better than we found it
We recognise our responsibility to contribute positively to the growth of women’s golf. As ambassadors of the game, we seek to inspire participation, encourage newcomers and create opportunities for women to discover the benefits and enjoyment of golf.
